Eco-Wonder Workshop is a nature-inspired, eco-conscious art studio located in downtown Santa Barbara, CA. The business provides sustainable, process-based art experiences for children ages 1–12, with a focus on sensory exploration, STEAM learning, and creativity rooted in environmental responsibility.
An immersive art experience where the workshop space itself is part of the artistic process. We use as many sustainable, repurposed, and natural goods as possible to take care of the environment while we create art together with our community!
Eco-Wonder Workshop Founder
Eco-Wonder Workshop was founded by Jen Griffith, a fourth-generation educator whose life has been shaped by three core pillars: lifelong learning, building community, and a deep appreciation for nature and the environment.
Her professional path includes 16 years as a public school teacher, where she nurtured creativity and curiosity within her students. Beyond the classroom, Jen has taught & coached swimming for 42 years, worked at sleepaway summer camps, volunteered extensively with youth organizations.
After years of running mobile art workshops and nature-based community programs, Jen recognized a local need for a dedicated space where children can explore art freely and sustainably that is open to them throughout the week with class-times being chosen with an emphasis on their developmental growth.
Eco-Wonder Workshop is the culmination of her lifelong passions—uniting education, environmental awareness, and childhood creativity into an inspiring studio where families can connect and create together.
Workshops
Ages 1-5 with Adult
A gentle, joy-filled introduction to creativity that invites little hands to explore texture, color, sound, and movement through sensory-rich art experiences made with natural and repurposed materials.
Ages 3-5
A playful, process-based art class where imagination leads the way as children explore materials, experiment freely, and build confidence through creative play - all in a warm, supportive environment that celebrates wonder over “finished” projects.
Ages 5-12
A welcoming, mixed-age creative studio for homeschool and after-school classes where children connect, unwind and create; engaging hands-on projects using eco-friendly materials while encouraging experimentation, problem-solving, and joyful self-expression.
